Introduction to the Study of the Otherealm

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Alliance of Rogue Researchers (ARR)! Can we interest you in an introductory pamphlet? Oh! Well, yes, I should tell you more about us, you're right.

There exists a part of reality that cannot be measured or otherwise quantified, and it is this that we at the call the Otherealm. Science does not have the tools to research it, but we believe it to be worthy of study nonetheless, with art as the avenue to do so.

This is where you come in! Bring your passion for art, select a sector of the Otherealm that interests you (while ideally bringing some friends along), and create something that you feel represents your sector in some way.

Here are some examples of sectors within the Otherealm you might want to study:

• The magical space underneath (yet on top of?) the forest in your favorite park
• The space that the internet exists in
• The energy and mythology surrounding a statue in your city
• The sense of smallness you get when you look up at the stars
• The feeling of childhood
• Love

There is no fee to join the ARR, and there are not even alliance-wide meetings. By joining the ARR, you are moreso committing to yourself that you will make something with beauty and love for the sake of yourself and of the collective future.

That is our true goal: to enliven ourselves and others with our research.
